Manhattan Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow

Lately I’ve grown fond of metallic eyeshadows more than before. Especially when I do that J.Lo style with a lot of white shimmer on the inner corner. It just brightens up your eyes, but don’t do it if they are too close together. It will bring too much attention to it.

Here’s what I mean:

So, I got a nice Manhattan Eyeshadow Quatro for my birthday and I’ ve decided to write about it. Posts like this are your online testers. They have always been helpful to me, so I hope mine will be helpful to you too.

These colors are totally shimmer, and of course, much prettier live than on the photos. But let me show you guys.

Eyeshadow set
Eyeshadow set named Miss Right 53T

So this is an already used set. I just couldn’t restrain myself before I managed to take any photos, or even considered to make it a blog post. From upper left corner there are:

  1. Metallic Pink
  2. Very shimmery Silver / White
  3.  Light Golden
  4.  Royal Blue

There are no formal names for the eyeshadows on the package so I just described them the way I see it.

The texture is velvety soft, as they say it is.

Above is a bit more lighter photo.

And finally, the swatches! ( I live for the swatches )

It is alwayd hard to capture the shimmer.

And another one:

More light here. This silvery eyeshadow looks almost white in less layers.

Usually I would never mix pink and gold with blue for my makeup style, and I rather use them in other color combinations. But, I did use a full set on the following photos just to see what the Manhattan crew imagined as the final look when they put this together.

Here are two a bit different styles and looks:

Smokey look with eyeliner that can be worn at daytime.

Golden and silver are not so visible here even though I used them. You can notice the pink shine.

There is a lot of layers of eyeshadow for this look but the colors are vivid. I did have to adjust the contrast and brightness because I’m a lousy photographer, but trust me I didn’t have to mess with the eyeshadow colors.

So this is it. I bet you can come up with even more makeup looks than I did and you can share them with me if you are a passionate MUA. Or MUA enthusiast.

Feel free to share your looks via comments or on my FB page.

‘Till then, XOXO.

Marina.
